Leigh's journey began in Upper St. Clair township where she grew up playing every sport you can think of. She was the 10-year-old who would go to other kids' practices just because she wanted to play more., luckily she has very supportive parents who would tote her around from field to field. She gravitated more competitively to soccer and basketball as the years went on and played high-level soccer through high school. She travelled all throughout the United States and over in Europe to pursue her soccer dream. Besides being an athlete, she was a fan. She loved watching others play sports both amateur and professional. Her passion for sports began young and continues on to this day.

Education and Early Career

After excelling in school academically Leigh attended Virginia Tech In Blacksburg, Virginia and obtained her degree In English. After graduating from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies), she attended Duquesne University for law school. Here, she honed her skills in critical thinking, negotiation, and advocacy. During her time in law school, she took on internships with various professional sports organizations, gaining invaluable experience in contract negotiations, compliance issues, and athlete representation.

These experiences solidified her desire to merge her love for sports with her legal career. Leigh was awarded the C.A.L.I. Award in law school for obtaining the highest grade in Sports & Entertainment Law. Upon graduation, Leigh joined a small law firm in Washington, PA where she worked for over a decade helping her clients in various subjects- from family law to contract negotiation.
